Heather Bernard, the visionary behind Loomies, is a chemical engineer with a deep passion for empowering children’s potential. Born and raised in Kentucky, Heather’s love for science, reading, and problem-solving has fueled her mission to make learning magical for kids.

After experiencing multiple miscarriages in a single year, Heather transformed that loss into something magical and meaningful—both as an escape and a way to foster resilience, kindness, and a love for learning in young minds. Through every book, board game, and activity, Loomies encourages children to overcome challenges, embrace curiosity, and grow with confidence.

What are the Loomies?
The Loomies are a whimsical group of magical fairies and their animal companions, each with their own personality and unique abilities. From Dewie the Water Fairy to Twig the Earth Fairy, these characters teach kids science concepts, emotional resilience, and problem-solving through fun adventures. Their enchanting world, filled with forests, streams, and magical meadows, offers a playful way for children to connect with both the environment and themselves.
